Stipa calamagrostis, commonly known as feather grass or needle grass, is a perennial ornamental grass native to Europe and Asia. It features fine, arching green foliage and produces silvery, feathery flower plumes in summer that persist into winter. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for borders, meadows, or xeriscaping. Grows up to 3-4 feet tall.
