Erman's birch (Betula ermanii)

Betula ermanii, commonly known as Erman's birch or gold birch, is a deciduous tree native to Northeast Asia. It grows up to 20 meters tall, with distinctive peeling bark that ranges from creamy white to golden-brown. Thriving in cold climates, it prefers well-drained soils and full sun. Its leaves are ovate with serrated edges, turning yellow in autumn. This birch is valued for ornamental use and its hardy nature.
