Celosia argentea, commonly known as silver cock's comb or plumed celosia, is an annual flowering plant in the amaranth family. It features vibrant, feathery flower heads in shades of red, pink, orange, or yellow. Native to tropical regions, it thrives in warm climates and well-drained soil. Often grown for ornamental purposes, it attracts pollinators and is also edible, used in some cuisines. Easy to grow, it prefers full sun and moderate watering.
