Hamamelis mollis, commonly known as Chinese witch hazel, is a deciduous shrub native to China. It blooms in late winter to early spring with fragrant, yellow flowers with ribbon-like petals. The leaves are broad, oval, and turn yellow in autumn. It prefers well-drained soil and partial to full sun. Valued for its winter blooms and ornamental appeal.
