Osteospermum ecklonis, commonly known as African daisy or Cape daisy, is a flowering perennial native to South Africa. It produces vibrant, daisy-like flowers in shades of white, pink, purple, or yellow with a dark center. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is drought-tolerant and blooms from spring to fall. Often used in gardens, borders, or containers, it attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies. Some varieties close their petals at night or on cloudy days.
